I enjoy designing and then creating those designs. I started this trade as a hobby many years ago while in high school and gradually learned the many different skills of the trade.

I learned about black coral during my diving experiences in Saudi Arabia where I worked for 10 years. While diving in the Red Sea my son and I discovered the black coral at depths of 75 to 100 feet below the surface. We cut the coral with hacksaws and eventually learned how to cure the coral and prepare it for making jewelry. The rest is history along with many hours of practice and hands on work.
